HGB Alarm Troubleshooting Guide for CBC Test Machines
If your CBC analyzer displays an HGB alarm, follow these steps to resolve the issue efficiently.
Step 1: Access the Self-Check Interface
- Click "Service" to enter the service menu.
- Select "Self-Check" to open the diagnostic interface.

Step 2: Verify HGB Adjustment Value
- In the self-check menu, click "HGB Adjustment (HGB Adj)".
- The reading should be 4.2 ± 0.5 (normal range for blood cell counters).

Step 3: Clean the WBC Chamber (If HGB Value is Abnormal)
If the HGB value is outside the 4.2 ± 0.5 range on your hematology analyzer:
